North and South at 40: The Film (2025)
A documentary commemorating the 40th anniversary of North and South. In November 1985, ABC premiered North and South, a $25million epic that is still being celebrated to this day. The series was based on American writer John Jakes’ novels, which topped The New York Times best seller list. The series was released in three instalments. North and South: Book I and North and South: Book II (starring Patrick Swayze, featuring James Read, Lesley-Anne Down, and Jean Simmons) were released back-to-back in the United States in 1985 and 1986, with each series comprising of six 90-minute episodes, chronicling the lives of the Main and Hazard families prior to and during the US Civil War. North and South: Book III was released in 1994, which featured three episodes showcasing how the Main and Hazard families were affected after the civil war and the reconstruction that followed. The documentary features exclusive interviews with 10 members of the cast and crew, who share their memories of making North and South, and its impact 40 years on. Disability In Sport (2021)
An independent and self-made audio documentary focusing on life for disabled athletes in sport. The documentary was made during my final year at university and was submitted as part of my coursework. The documentary features exclusive interviews with Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, gold medal winning Paralympian Liz Johnson, and journalist Andy Stevenson.
